Having a bet on the seahawks, I also was pissed of. The german tv reporters speculated, that perhaps Russel Willson didn't executed the play call, but one reporter said, that this was Carrol's decisision and he named it an "all in". If the decision would have worked, he would have been the king of the hill. With the beast mode as option, I think, the defense likely awaited a running game call, not an off target pass. That an undrafted defense player thought "u, three steps forward, there is a strange feel in my gut, THAT was the boxes, which popped out. It was not a bad decision, it was bad luck.
