I understand that that's what you're doing, but I don't think it would increase the size of my collection more rapidly.

In the same amount of time that it would take me to play through someone else's match, I could play against the bot and generate my own match. The limiting factor is not the raw rate of generating errors but the filing and studying. I already have about 1000 matches of my own that are figuratively collecting dust because I haven't been disciplined enough about spending only about 20% of my time generating errors and 80% of my time filing and studying.

The main reason to study others' matches, in my opinion, is to learn the playing styles of potential future opponents.
