Of proper use of words

You wrote "and at three checkers against three checkers 12 pips or less is always a double and a take at an even pip count or better"
Think about the terrible takes that rule gives. For example a 2 roll position would be a take. But like I wrote in my last post I suspect you didn't write what you meant to write. I am guessing now that you meant 11 or 12 pips instead of 12 or less.
I know what a ROT is. Do you know what the word "always" means? If you intend to give something as a ROT don't say always.

"(and I get a considerably smaller 0.41 size take, not a 0.96 size one)"
I don't see where you get the .41 value from or even what you mean by a .41 size take being smaller. It is standard to say that .96 take means the equity to doubler after taking so that is a very close take being close to 1. One might also here something like "a take by .04". A .41 take would be a huge take so it seems you are using terminology differently. Do you have the same position?
