There are some interesting corollaries.

How many tournaments (we can even go to % of tournaments) has Ray won -- or Akiko, or Malcolm, or Stefan, or others -- in comparison to how many tournaments some of the elite PR players have won? I don't think it coincidence. Some know how to play, some know how to win. Most successful players, obviously, possess both skills to varying degrees.

I only contend that some get more out of their game than others. I think it foolhardy to discount this element of the game.
