Sorry Bob, I disagree. A truncated rollout will give you a more accurate decision on the take/pass. But if a truncated rollout comes out with 21.6 it will still show it as a take and if it comes out 21.4 it will show it as a pass, and that will prove that xg is using something close to 21.5.
If you do a 1 ply and it comes out 21.4 and it is a pass and 21.6 and it is a take, again, that shows that xg is using something close to 21.5 to make its decision.
If there is something wrong with this logic, I am all ears.
