What is the Fair Settlement here?

Breaking the deal is wrong anyways but here is the math:
Assuming equal players the equity when reaching the final 4 is 1/4th of the prize pool which is $392.5.
The equity of making the finals is half the prize pool which is $785. Your forfeit gained him $392.5 of equity and the deal gained you $200 + (1/2)250 = $325 of equity. The deal was unfavorable to you in the amount of $67.50, not ridiculous and perhaps him agreeing to help you out of the jam should count for something. The fair value would have been $200 + an extra $385 if he had won. Or maybe better would be he just pays half of what he wins. He is guaranteed at least 470 and thus could pay 235 now and half of the difference (.5)(1100- 470) = 315 extra if he won.
Who are these "experts" he talked to?
