I think what Nack is saying (though I'm not sure) is that if you plotted the full histogram of all the rollout outcomes, then the graph would not be symmetric about the mean. In technical jargon we would say that one needs to look at the third moment (skewness) as well as the first and second moments (mean and variance) in order to capture the random variable properly.
