Is not a lot of those missed goals, especially bad goal calls and hand balls due to a bad angle to view the play

I do not know what percentage of bad or missed calls is due to bad angle. I do know that it cannot be always impossible to make a good call just because a player has his back to the referee, as "how could he possibly" seems to imply.

On the other hand, Armando Galarraga knows it's possible to make a bad call with an unimpaired view three feet away from the action ;-
