Im cetainly not playing from the back. Playing from the 5 and 6 points is my first consideration.The theory seems correct but I dont want to beholden to making them again. Playing from the 9 point is a no no a following 6 makes my prime a pepper pot. That leaves the 7 and 8 point. 7/3 leaves a blot, if hit I will have a runner to keep white honest and the double does not hurt too much. I could clear the 8 point but would be best to leave the blot, a bit of insurance against the 44 roll. I am a belt and braces man 7/3.The prime looks strong and white will not have a decent home board,its in the bag.
