How xg treats illegal moves

From Xavier:
"illegal Moves are excluded from PR calculations, both from an Equity point of view, or counting as a decision."
Therefore it does have an affect on PR because the player doesn't get rated for that move. Whether he would have blundered if played legally and poorly or played right it doesn't get counted. Also if his illegal play was bad or good it doesn't get counted and that too could affect PR.
I believe it has become the "rule" for all who play streamed matches at ABT events to play legal moves and I believe almost everyone who records their matches agree to play legal moves so, to Bob and other who have raised this issue, the fact that our software requires legal moves is not an issue for given the current norms and rules.
Having said that, I guess if you want to play non legal moves and the roll is a 6-4 and the player moved 6-3 I think you could changed the dice and the roll to 6-3 and enter it that way. It would be treated as if the dice were cocked.
