I like your system and might even prefer it to my own. I'll have to try both. They both involve almost exactly the same characters, but position them on the page differently.

By the way, I realized I said something wrong in my previous post. I gave an example of running with 64 in response to an opening 21 slot. The choice is not between hitting and not hitting, but between hitting once and hitting twice. I suspect that you would indicate the double hit with a double underline and a single hit with a single underline.
