By the way, I realized I said something wrong in my previous post. I gave an example of running with 64 in response to an opening 21 slot. The choice is not between hitting and not hitting, but between hitting once and hitting twice. I suspect that you would indicate the double hit with a double underline and a single hit with a single underline.
Yes, that's right. Keep in mind that every bit of extra notation is there just for resolution of ambiguity. Say your opponent opens with 52D and you roll 64. If you just write 14, there's no need for any underlining, since it must hit one checker.
