Cube action ATS

I think I would send this redouble, even at this lopsided score. 4 numbers leave shots immediately and you will get hit about a third of the time on them... So that amounts to 44 to 48 hits per 1296, plus some delayed shot equity. Whether or not it is a double is sort of moot, as many players will drop when they should take... Others might incorrectly take when they should drop. The fact that their are two ways they can make a mistake makes it a difficult guessing game for them, as long as you send over the cube.
If it is a highly respected opponent, you expect him to do the right thing, and you know the answer yourself, (as John O probably does)... Then just do the right thing. If the opponent is an unknown quantity then just send it. If he guesses right, okay. There will be enough wrong responses among the masses to justify any mistake you might make sending it. Meanwhile it might just be right to cube, so there is no particular need to figure it all out.
If you really HATE losing when you are leading by a lopsided score then maybe it is better for your psyche not to send this sort of redouble... For the mild warm and fuzzy feeling you get from redoubling and winning here will not compensate for the projectile vomiting that will be caused by a bad beat. You have to know yourself, too!
