Tournament Resignation Rule

Stick gave you the rule.

The other considerations in non-contact position are:

1) It is usually easier to roll than figure out if the resign is correct or not. So you usually should just roll until it is absolutely clear.

2) Dont offer to resign a single when gammon is still possible. Even if it is highly unlikely.

3) Moral question of accepting a resign of gammon or a single game loss before it is certain also comes into play. (Note I usually explain that at the first offer but if the same opponent resigns again prematurely later in the same match, IMHO the moral obligation is over)
