I played $ (Slot) = bar/24 13/7. Compared to 54S-44P-61, Whites prime is less threatening. Therefore, the need to try to advance the anchor is less. Against 10 checkers in the zone, I chose not to split.

As above, the need to advance the anchor is less against a made 3pt than it is against a made 5pt. With 10 checkers in the zone, I want to stand pat in the back court. That leaves a choice between slotting the 5pt or 7pt. I went with the former.

With this one, I got bluffed into playing two down, for the same reasons as above. I did not want to split my anchor. Trailing in the race, I thought priming would be a better game plan than running.Mike
