When it will be a vey easy take the importance of maintaining a DT is greatly lowered. Also I am not sure it will be a guaranteed DT even if opponent does not get a good racing doublet. Every sequence without a resolution usually favors the holding game player since time to clear with doubles is less. Also here there is some crunching which is bad for both race and the occasional wild hitting sprees that might occur.
