K -- forgive me if I'm not seeing something (and I've not attended many of thee long-form tournaments) -- but simply prioritizing certain "more important" events" can be more of the problem than the solution. This weekend I think it frequently happened that a player holding up an early round of a "smaller" side event was off playing a much later round of a more important event -- and one with longer match length to boot.

When we're considering breaking logjams and keeping all events moving, it seems like the lagging brackets regardless of event should sometimes be "highest priority."
