In Response To: My take on the Giants list (Taper_Mike)

The issue of weighting must have been dealt with before. Perhaps the Sight and Sound Periodic Voting for the 100 best films could serve as a model.

I also like the idea of voting in two or more categories: (1) Active Live Players and (2) Major Contributors to the Promotion and knowledge of backgammon.
