Here's the one

Nack, I'm not sure how the two-disc model is configured, but it would make the most sense if the SSD is used as the "system" drive, and the HDD as a secondary storage drive. My home PC is configured as follows: an SSD drive as the system disk, and two HDD drives for storage. (I'm about to upgrade one of those HDD drives to an SSD drive.) This allows for a super-quick start-up and seamless performance.
The trade-off is that the laptop with an additional HDD should be significantly heavier than the one with SSD alone. On the other hand, the dual-drive machine has an IPS display, and this is a huge plus! Let me know if need an additional explanation of the difference between display matrix technologies.
To summarize: the dual-drive laptop will be heavier, but has a better quality display. It should be configurable to be as fast as the SSD only model provided you are not working with HDD extensively.
Correction: it looks like the SSD only model also has an IPS panel per Lenovo's specifications:

Therefore, the only essential difference between the two is the extra HDD, which adds nontrivial weight, and probably drains the battery faster. (12GB vs. 16GB RAM difference you'll never notice. Also, I wouldn't put much weight into Amazon reviews as many of them come from people who are technologically challenged.) Do you plan to travel with the laptop? Would extra weight be an issue? Do you need that extra storage? Do you need to access it often? You can easily find a good portable external HDD with 1TB capacity for around $50 or 2TB for around $80.
