In Response To: Novi Consolation Final -- Critical Juncture -- Position 1 (Bill Riles)

I'm not going to freak out about trying to save a 6 here since doing so requires multiple blots in the homeboard. And for the same reason I'm not crazy about leaving 2 blots in the board by playing 8/1. I think I prefer playing 8/4 6/3. It creates 3 builders for the acepoint and if blue happens to hit a shot, makes it more likely that the lone blot can either be covered or lifted.
