My understanding of -x,-2 scores is that your doubling window is truly massive, and to be honest, I am somewhat surprised that the game had managed to proceed thus far without it being turned - not saying it doesnt happen, but you really have to be a dog the entire time to not turn it - also, when your gammon losses are rising, then you also get to turn it then. I think you alluded to a comment by Joe indicating much the same thing earlier.
