"backgammon" on Google search declining

I agree that there should be more promotion to show how much fun backgammon is and also the many advantages in learning the game.It has been a godsend to me as it is challenging for the mind and has kept me occupied instead of sitting around watching tv as I am retired. It helps children and college students with using their minds also and is certainly more advantageous than video games. My problem or question is how to go about promoting the game when there is no interest or other issues.I have tried calling schools and visiting schools to try to get interest, but I have to go from one person to another as nobody seems to know who I should talk to. When I succeed in talking to someone, there either is no interest or there is a mandatory background check that has to be done which takes some time for completion unless it is just an excuse for no interest.Retirement centers, Churches, other organizations, high schools, etc in this area are virtually impossible to get an interest. I also emailed a couple of tv stations with no replies.Promoting is a good idea, but when you run into what I have within my area, it gets to be frustrating.
