I'd have guessed a little over 35% wins for Yellow

I assume you meant for Black but I needed to clarify in case you were estimating Yellow's gammons.

3a's live cube take point is about 19%. GVs are .73 and .46 as John pointed out. If you had nailed the gammon estimates, 25 and 9 respectively, we would get a fully adjusted take point of: .73 * 25 = 18.25 and .46 * 9 = 4 so 18.25 - 4.25 = 14. Add that on to 19% giving us a fully adjusted take point of 19% + 14% = 33% meaning if you had wasted your time like Stick suggested you would have ended up taking.
