At the time I saw the award, I think they were counting around 280 or 290. They are very liberal. As I recall Alaska and Hawaii (I didn't go over the current list to verify) counted separately? And I think I could personally count Indonesia 3 times, including one layover in Kota Kinabalu, and my three visits to Jakarta and two to Bali.

Joli was missing a few countries in Africa, a few in the Pacific, and said he had no intention of visiting any he had missed. Of course he was already in his sixties by then, and had a young son he was raising as a single parent. (Though I think he either remarried, or at least has a live in girlfriend by now.)

Aside from his fame as a game creator, he is possibly the only Indonesian prince who was born in New Jersey.
