PHPBB3 where HTML enabled isn't even an option. If you do figure out how to manage it, it is open source after all and there are mods, it is still much more likely to be exploited because when skiddies scan they will scan for ...the most popular bulletin board in use. PHPBB3 where the layout/format is not what I want. This has been discussed before and there are many other reasons I won't switch. You're stuck with these FREE forums.

You're saying it's not about the money now but did you read your original post? "At the mercy of greedy developers...", "reasonable price", precious paid for applications", "FREE^3".
