Wow!

Sounds similar to a 'rumour' doing the rounds in the 70s, about a scam at an established top end London casino soon after it launched.

It seems somebody managed to slip an ace (or aces) from the blackjack deck (with or without dealer collusion), played properly at higher than his normal stakes, lost a heap, then in faked despair demanded that the deck be counted confident that when the missing card/s is discovered the fledgeling casino would return his losses rather than be mired in controversy.

Good luck if you can get away with your own novel moneymaking enterprise.
