How come some BG players are so penurious

Thanks Tara.....

1) I went in 2002 and it was a fun experience. I thought the registration fee at the time. 200 Euro's (about $200 with 2002 exchange rates) was a great deal. Both cocktail parties had enough food to make dinner out of them. The gala dinner was good food, good drink and good for the BG crowd to get some culture. That year it also included complimentary golf greens fee at the Monte Carlo Golf Course (about a 20min cab ride up to it, not included in the fee). The cab ride up and back itself was fabulous.

2) Penurious http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/penurious Example......Someone that spends 1000 euros for entry fee, $1000 +/- for air-fair, another $2000-3000 for room and food etc. Then complains about $180 being too much for an evening out in Monte Carlo is PENURIOUS.
