"I am talking about BMAB tournaments only, aplications are ok. The registration fee is small and trying to semplify the game actually is convenient for both players to score good PR. I expect quite an omogeneous field so it would be difficult to outplay the opponent, the winning chances would not change much. Maybe you have data to confirm or not my supposition, for the same player I expect lower PR in a BMAB tournament than in an application."
I was talking about BMAB tournaments. Your assumptions are wrong, Players play to win because of the prize money from the main entry fee or side pools. You are also wrong in assuming the fields are homogenous. There is no evidence to suggest that PRs in applications is lower than in tournaments. Your opinions seemed to be based partially at least on false assumptions. If you want to check against data, it is all available on the BMAB site on the resources page.
