Women and men tournament brackets; meet in finals

In Response To: Women and men tournament brackets; meet in finals (Bob Koca)

I was referring to the proposed tournament of having men play men and women play women until the finals. Not an open tournament.

Suppose there are 32 men and 32 women. Would the total equity for the men change with the draw?
