Risky yes but you're still up 2 pips and on roll in a race to 78. Depending on the exact position you'll be around 63-64% meaning a cube is probably your normal every day blunder but passing said cube will be 5 or 6 times as worse. After hearing someone announce a wrong count like that I would hope you'd get at least 1/3rd of them to drop easily and to make it a proper double you would only need 1/7th of them to pass.
