About 1.2.1, can you give an example, or several, of a situation in which a player would not be sure that he had or had not violated a rule and should therefore rule against or penalize himself?
About 3.5, what would be a "legitimate reason to object or refuse to use" a baffle box or dice tube? Also, is it true that the rule requires a director to determine whether a "legitimate reason" exists, but does not prohibit a director from requiring that the box or tube be used, even if a "legitimate reason" exists, or require a director to insist that the box or tube be used, even if no "legitimate reason" exists? Or is the director obligated to enforce the use of the tube or box in the absence of a "legitimate reason" to not using them (which seems implied by the first sentence, which says that all such equipment "receive priority -- e.g, precision over non-precision dice, lipped over unlipped cups, dice tube over no dice tube, and baffle box over no baffle box).
