If we compare the top players in backgammon with the top players in chess, I think it is pretty obvious that the top players in chess are a lot more skillful, after all they are brainy people who started out at age of 4 or 5 and are competing against a much bigger field. And if someone had (or has) comparable skill in backgammon their PR would be in the low 2's atleast imo.
