The problem of playing bots on lower settings, is that you learn unconsciously by noticing the bot's plays and mimicking those.

So for checkerplays it's not worth-while.

However, I think cubes are a different story. Add some noise to the cube evaluations, in order to get more difficult decisions. Otherwise you'll quickly learn to take unless the bot's last roll was a joker :-)

"crazy" positions are just positions that you don't come across very often during bot play, I suppose :-)
