I agree with these. Perhaps tournaments could have pre-announced informal 'arbiters', or specific people that have the power to walk by, and then wearing a big red pin scream out "Stick made an illegal move! Pitchforks out! Start the fires!"
OK. Less than that, but pre-defined arbiters who can say something about plays. There could be qualifying criteria, such as 'must have played live bg for over 2 years', or similar.
Personally, I am all for illegal moves being pointed out to me, I'd rather play legally. I dont particularly like it when a spectator says 'you played that illegally, it was a 54', when I know fine well it was a 53, and played perfectly legally. - that kind of thing just slows the game down.
