I don't expect a reasonable person, and anyone involved in backgammon, not to know this. That is not who we are protecting the TD from. Anyone who thinks I would set up a betting pool if the TD didn't want it should know better. But it could never be stated or proven that the TD ran a gambling event, and that is the concern of some TD's when they run tournaments in some states and cities.
