Yes, in fact the ONLY event at the Capital Classic that was not at least Clocks Preferred (i.e., on request of either player) was the NOVICE ABT division which was Clocks Optional (mutual agreement).

Masters Jackpot, Open Jackpot, Doubles and Open ABT were Clocks Required.

Everything else (except Novice) was Clocks Preferred, including all side events. For the Advanced ABT division, we kept the two minute per point reserve time but increased the delay time from 12 seconds to 15 seconds.

P.S. If I had $5 for every time I've heard over the years, "I don't need a clock, I'm a fast player" then all events could be 100% payout with added money.
