Refining the question a bit, "Will a future bot be able to beat XG2 (XGR++ setting) at least 51% of the time in 15 point matches? When?" First, I will estimate XGR++'s PR at 0.4 . 0.4 is just my best guess, and I could be off. That number really is the big question mark here. A 1 PR difference with a relatively low PR seems to equate to about 4% more wins in a 15 point match, so a bot would have to hit a 0.15 PR or so to beat XG 51%. XG was copyrighted in 2009, 6 years ago. In the 6 years since, the only serious challenger has been XG2. I think that it will take more than 20 years for a bot to beat XG 51% in 15 point matches.
