Agreed. Especially since it appears that if the schedule is adhered to the 8 players in the Super 16 quarterfinals will not have an opportunity to play in the Last Chance.

By only paying 2 spots you could have someone make it to the semifinals and potentially not win a dime if they lose and their opponent did not wish to hedge.

I think anyone not having a path into the Last Chance should be assured of cashing and not have to rely on a hedge that may or may not take place.
