Podium's, Award Ceremonies and Other Acknowledgement's-little long

I wouldn't even want to stick around for a trophy ceremony if I was one of the recipients of a trophy. I'd rather be on my way home or out celebrating. I believe a lot of people would value it a lot more than I do but there are many many issues at US events that makes it seem pretty unfeasible.
