Midboard: an alternate term for "opponent's outer board"

I'm not sure whether you understood my point all too well or whether you missed it completely. I'll expand upon it just in case:
Imagine (hypothetically) for a moment that we live in a world in which our descriptive name for the 13pt is "the far side outer edge point." If we did live in such a world, wouldn't it be nice if we had a shorter name for it? Fortunately, in the real world, we do have such a name: the "midpoint."
Now imagine that we live in a world in which our descriptive name for the quadrant housing the 13pt, 14pt, 15pt, 16pt, 17pt and 18pt is called "the opponent's outer board." Oh wait, we DO live in such a world! Wouldn't it be nice if we had a shorter descriptive name for "the opponent's outer board," and is "midboard" or "midquadrant" (the board or quadrant containing the midpoint) possibly the answer?
By analogy, that is all I meant.
