Hithermost table = outer board. Would that make the one across from it the "thithermost table"? Darn, it's still one letter longer than "far outer board." Maybe we could drop the board/table/quadrant word altogether and just call the four quadrants: home, hither, thither and yon.
I also enjoyed "stops the six-point in your outer table," (meaning "makes the bar point").
For those who hadn't noticed, the anagram of archaism is charisma.
