Midboard: an alternate term for "opponent's outer board"

If it was referred to as midboard, I would ask, whose mid board, mine or my opponent's?
Therefore if short is what you want, and there are 4 quadrants to a backgammon board just number them like Tom said, Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4. There's nothing shorter or simpler, other than a symbol for each. And I do prefer them being referred to as quadrants rather than boards.
