Midboard: an alternate term for "opponent's outer board"

It seems strange that the midboard is not between the inner and outer boards.
In that case, does it also seem strange that the midpoint is not between the inner points and the outer points? Nobody seems to mind that (nor do I see why they should).
- The inner board houses the inner points.
- The outer board houses the outer points.
- The midboard houses the midpoint.
- The back board/quadrant houses the back points.
Hey, I admit it's not perfect, but I don't think it's hard for someone to remember once he makes the connection.
