Unnecessary Coast-To-Coast Traveling

The finals are indeed 2 - 3 - 2 with the reason being to avoid the coast to coast to coast trip. The early rounds matching an eastern division team vs another eastern or a west ern vs western are 2 - 2 - 1- 1- 1. Unlke some sports the east west diviosn is pretty clean. The one oddball team is Memphis which plays in the east.
