Does the box have an advantage?

The first year I played bg was strictly chouette only. I didn't know my hand from my ass at that point and probably never gave much thought to taking to keep the box or any other fancy advanced chouette play. I haven't really played but once or twice since at ABT events so this is more of a thought experiment than anything else but considering the situation where I am the box (or even the Captain trying to win the box) and I am cubed here. Earlier in the game everyone else's cubes were resolved with me winning two points and losing two points. To keep the box I have to show a profit. Are you suggesting that I should drop this cube and not take solely to try to keep the box?? I think it fits all your criteria. I would take this in a heartbeat v. one opponent to keep the box. I would drop it like it's hot if the box were not on the line.
