The only time a buy-back might be considered as a new entrance is when it is priced at full price. In that case, it is as though the player reentering conceded all the matches he had remaining in the Consolation Flight, Fighters Bracket, or Last Chance. He would also be foregoing the ABT points that he might have won in the those matches. His reentrance can then be treated as a completely new tournament, making 2 tournaments in total. Such a player will get two bites at the Main Flight and any Consolations. The fact that he concedes some of his Consolation matches is his decision.

When the buy-back is priced fairly, however, the circumstance more closely resemebles that of a player who plays 1.5 tournaments. He gets two bites at the Main Flight, but only one bite at the Consolations. He should be risking more capital if he wants us to treat it as 2 tournaments.
