A spectator should be as quiet as an ant pissing on cotton.

Letting spectators speak up on ANYTHING is a very bad idea for SO many reasons. They should not speak up to the players no matter what -- even if they see out-and-out cheating. (They can go to the TD.)

Here's a couple of scenarios. I suspect there are more….

1. You're doing a pip count, with the clock running, and a spectator helpfully points out a previous NLM. Except they are wrong, and after straightening it out you've got to start your count again. Tick tock.

2. You can't make a spectator act impartially when they watch for NLMs. Your opponent has 6 friends watching. You have none.
