If only we could

You are right, Bob. All of these terrible things could happen when you play on a computer. We should play on a board, except, wait, on a live board aren't the following possible:
1. A player might make an illegal move, intentionally or unintentionally;
2. Players might mess up the board by accidentally hitting the table or board;
3. You might roll a bunch of cocked dice or throw dice off the table;
4. You might mess up the score;
5. You might forget to hit the clock or mess up the clock;
6. you might set up the board wrong and only start with 14 checkers or the checkers in the wrong place;
7. someone might have loaded dice or have a method of manipulating the dice;
8. You might start with the cube in the wrong place and not realize it and have a problem arguing if it really has been turned;
9. You might give (and take) a dead cube;
10. You might forget to pick up a checker that had to be legally hit;
11. You might put your own checker on the bar;
12. You might roll doubles and pull off 5 checkers.
So yes, there are possible problems playing on a computer, but in my many years of playing on a computer compared to playing on a board, IT'S HANDS DOWN FEWER PROBLEMS ON A COMPUTER....not even a close bet.
I think a better argument is that you should not go to a tournament because you might be struck by lightening.
