I'm with Jason on this one.

Character evaluations aside, this boils down to a "he said, she said" situation. If the situation can't be resolved over the table by the two players (factoring in character evaluations, witness accounts, reviewing of the video, etc.), and the director must be called, then the director, must make an objective ruling based on who was most culpable in causing the problem.

Video or no video, that person is clearly Player A, the lesson being that there is no reason to move the checkers in such a wild and ambiguous way.

Thankfully, it didn't get that far.
