Not paying attention to your opponents roll is no big deal on a clock, when the evidence stays there afterwards anyway. If we want to let our minds drift, why can't we?

Changing the position of a die however is an infraction. It is potentially a way of cheating, of course. Just because it may have been an accident it doesn't mean it wasn't an accident that couldn't have been avoided, with more care.
